HULL CONSTRUCTION: • MATERIALS The vessel is a laminated wooden construction of three separate layers and bonded with epoxy resin. The wood used on the hull is SAPELE; the wood used in the frames is IROKO and was constructed under the approval of the REGISTRO ITALIANO NAVALE (RINA) and TURKISH REGISTER and to Maltese Cross 100 A 1Y. All exposed wood was covered with epoxy fibre before filler application.DECKSMain deck and flybridge deck flooring: Two layers of marine ply covered by 25mm thickness of high quality teak strips combined of Sika flex.STAINLESS STEEL All stainless steel used on the vessel is 316L type. All tanks included fuel oil tanks are 316L grade stainless steel. Chain plates and chain hose as well as hawsers, bollards, cleats, guards, etc. Are made in house, 316L grade stainless steel.
