Captain, Adem Temiz
I was born and raised in a small town at the Black sea coast, namely Rize iyidere, which is famous with fishing harvest of Hamsi ( a close relative to sardines ) since childhood I was attracted to the sea and we used to go for fishing with my friends in a small dinghy even in the dark to discover new territories... after the college in 1985 decided to work on board of a commercial bulk carrier just for curiosity, navigating Oceans, far from shore, in the middle of nowhere but I was happy. storms and hurricanes were fun, each trip , each port was a new excitement and that excitement was the reason I fell in love with the Oceans. in 2007 we have built a motor sailing yacht named m/s Turksun and at the end of 2008
Years later a friend of mine told me that he worked as a yacht crew and in 1992
I decided to work with yachts instead of cargo ships. my first experience was on board of a yacht called "magic life" then untill 1999 I worked with many yachts as captain.
with the experience that I got with motor sailing yachts I became manager and captain of ms Yasemin III a 30 m ketch with 6 cabins and later m/s Maestro in 2003 .
we have commenced our yacht brokerage, management, service company in Gocek
and successfully became one of the fastest growing yachting company in Turkeyas a result of hardwork and honesty .
I have sold to a dubai based company and established "Akasia yachting" with my dear
friend Captain Oguz Porsuk who just arrived from south America to unite forces .
Yacht sales, chartering, yacht construction, yacht technical services, yacht crewing
and marine air conditioning are what we do best and we would like to share our success story through internet which converted the world into a small town.

About Us
Captain, Oguz B. Porsuk
Born and raised in Ankara in January 1960 far from the seaside, my encounter with black sea was only when we visit our grand parents at Findikli - Rize. after high school studied Three years of science and economics in Ankara universitybut decided to travel the world as soon as I could and became a navigator, worked with Koctug Lines, Sohtorik Lines, Dunya maritime shipping .
1982 joined the military service as a sargent in the glorious Turkish army,
won a title to represent Turkey in NATO headquarters at SHAPE Belgium ( Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe )
After the military service resumed working with cargo ships onboard
Belgian, French and Panama flagged vessels up untill 1988. Upon returning to Turkey Built a 22 m motor sailing yacht with my brothers to work with
yachting tourism and also established an A class Travel agency called Suna Tours ( A - 1719 ) and got a Licence from the Ministery of Tourism as a professional Tourist Guide in
both English and French Languages, Organized many incentives and excursions, worked as general manager to Global Marine Yachting and Suna Travel agency.
in 1992 decided to change my lifestyle and moved to the States,
as future commodities broker with Americash Inc., in San Diego, California. in 1996 returned to Turkey and resumed with Yachting Business as manager
and Captain with several yachts during four years in Kemer Antalya .
After marital divorce decided to refresh myself and moved to south America
this time settled in Lima, Peru.
Worked with Allied maritime Inc. for 10 years as Super cargo and port captain
led operations in all the pacific coasts of Mexico, Guatemala, Nikaragua, Costa Rica,
Panama, Colombia Ecuador, Peru and Chilean ports. However,
Blue water Yachting and awesome Turkish coastline, has always been a magnet
to my mind so decided to return home once again and we established
Akasia Yachting in with my brother, Captain Adem Temiz in Fethiye to settle down and
enjoy the rest of my life here in Eastern Mediterranean...
